After seeing this post, Raina tweeted and shared some emoji .. in which the flag of India and the sign of SOON (early) have been put.
Soon the sign somewhere indicates that Raina is showing signs of a comeback.
Last match played in 2018
Suresh Raina, who made his international debut in 2005, played the last international match for India in 2018. He played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20I matches for India. During this, the stylish left-hander scored 768 runs in 18 Test matches, 5615 runs in 226 ODIs at an average of 35.31 and a total of 1604 runs in 78 T20Is at a strike rate of 135. Raina scored 7 centuries and 48 half-centuries in all three formats.
Apart from being a strong batsman, he was also a good bowler. Raina took 13 wickets in Tests, 36 in ODIs and 13 wickets in T20 Internationals.
Big record made for India
Suresh Raina is the first player from Team India to score a century in all three formats of international cricket. Raina scored the first century for India in T20I as well. He played a brilliant innings of 101 runs against South Africa in the 2010 T20 World Cup. In the same year, Raina got a chance to make his Test debut against Sri Lanka and became the 12th player for India to score a century on debut. Raina played a wonderful innings of 120 runs against Sri Lanka.
Was unsold in IPL
Suresh Raina went unsold during the mega auction in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. Raina's base price was Rs 2 crore, but none of the franchises showed interest in him. Earlier he was part of four-time champion Chennai Super Kings. But even Chennai did not join him.
The veteran player played 205 matches in the IPL and managed to score a total of 5528 runs at an average of 32.52 and a strike rate of around 137. He has one century and 39 half-centuries to his name in this tournament.
